I’ve been playing a bit with size and proportion lately, and this slightly larger prototype feels just right. This single-track pendant is handcrafted completely of sterling silver. Three stainless steel ball bearings are trapped within the channel, allowing them to roll about freely but unable to fall out. Hangs from a 16" long, 1.5 mm round snake chain that is finished with a secure lobster clasp.

These Round and Round pieces were inspired by my desire to make things that challenge one's usual notions of jewelry. I enjoy creating pieces that incorporate moving parts, and I enjoy figuring out new ways of doing this.
